Candidates for President
Kyle Yarawsky
I am a Senior from Burlington, KY majoring in Sociology with an emphasis in IRAPP (Institute for Regional Analysis and Public Policy). I am heavily involved on campus and in the community. I currently serve as Vice President for Campus Involvement for SGA, President of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, Coordinator for Relay For Life for MSU, and a member of the Morehead/Rowan County Chamber of Commerce. I will work with Heather Kettering and the rest of my team to serve the students, be proactive on issues facing students, and ensure that the students are always taken into consideration.

Justin Smallwood
I am a Senior Math major and Geography minor from Pikeville, KY. I am currently serving as President of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, and Executive Vice President of IFC. I am also involved with the BCM/342 where I serve as their Intramural/ Co-Rec. Coordinator. I previously served as an associate member of SGA congress, and was a member of the Campus Involvement Committee.

Heather Kettenring
I am a junior from Stamping Ground, KY. I am majoring in Animal Science with a minor in General Business. I currently serve as your Vice President of Administration in the Student Government Association. I am again running for a position on SGA because I believe that your voice needs to be better heard. I believe that your concerns are legitimate and that they can be addressed in a proactive manner. It will be my goal along with Kyle Yarawsky to place SGA on firm ground allowing students to make the change they want on campus.

David Gillum
I am a freshmen pursuing a major in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. I have been on the Student Government Congress for the past two semesters and am currently the vice chair of the Campus Involvement committee. Other organizations I am affiliated with consist of my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, where I am Vice President of Communications and serving on our Recruitment Committee, being a member Student Activities Council, a Staff Writer for the Trail Blazer, and a Undergraduate Research Assistant. I am a very trustworthy and determined individual who will complete each task presented to me as well as administer and implement a plan of action to take care of any student concern.

Jessica Hall
I am currently a sophomore, Health and Physical Education major. I am prepared to serve the Student Body for a second year in a row on the Executive Council. I have spent countless hours this past year lobbying for students, their interests, and the chance to make the college experience the best it can be. MSU is at a critical time, with budget cuts, tuition caps, and an ever changing campus, it's important now more than ever to have the experienced leaders... the right leaders... leading the Student Government Association. Leadership Experience includes Student Government Vice President for Public Relations 08-09, Student Government College of Education Representative 07-08, Member of the Relay for life committee Butler Hall Vice President for Intramural, RHC, LLC, Leadership Program.

Yvette DeLaGuardia
I am a junior pursuing degrees in English and Philosophy. On campus I am involved in Student Support Services, Chi Omega Fraternity, and I work as a Tutor Counselor for the academic enhancement program Upward Bound. Through these organizations and work places I have had the opportunity to expand my leadership skills and develop new and exciting ways to apply them in a variety of settings. I am confident that I am qualified for the SGA position VP of Administration, and I look forward to working with all those currently involved with SGA as well as with my fellow candidates.
Candidates for Vice President of Finance

Christopher Hanson
I am running for your Vice President of Finance. I function as a Student Alumni Ambassador, member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, the College Republicans, the Honors Program, Freshman SGA Representative, and as Vice-Chair of the SGA Public Relations Committee. I am a Baptist Student Union Enthusiast (GO TNL!), a Government Major, and a Legal Studies Minor. I feel that I can provide the oversight and guidance needed to manage the budget of SGA, and ensure that our funds are used in the most positive way possible. I want to see students more involved and enthusiastic to go to Morehead State. I want to use the budget of SGA to better Serve the students. I want to make sure that every student's voice is heard, and make certain that every student feels that they can make a difference.

Lauren Cannon
I am a sophomore accounting major here at MSU. I am from Flemingsburg, Ky. I am currently serving as the President of the Chi Omega Sorority. This is my first semester in Student Government Association but I am ready and willing to serve the students to the best of my ability.

Trey Rosser
I am a Junior majoring in Government with an emphasis in IRAPP. I currently serve as the Kentucky Federation of College Republicans Second Vice Chair, Delta Tau Delta's On Campus Activities Chair, a member of the Federalist society, and a member of Christians United for Israel. In the past I have served SGA as a Sophomore Representative Junior Representative and a member of the Campus Involvement committee. During my first year here at MSU I felt as if my ideas and beliefs were not being properly portrayed. If I am elected as your Vice President of Campus Involvement I will express those lost feelings that I felt during my freshman year.

Lindsay Adkins
I am a sophomore Organizational/Interpersonal Communication major with a minor in Marketing from Ashland, Kentucky . For the past three semesters I have interned with the Student Activities Coordinator. Through this I have worked on Homecoming, Family Weekend, Put the Suitcases Down weekend events and other various student activities on campus. I currently serve as a member of the BCM/342 council as a Social Fellowship Coordinator.

Jarrod Portwood
I am running for Vice President of Public Relations. I am a Junior Paralegal Studies major and History minor and I plan on attending law school. I was born and raised in Redfox, Ky. As Vice President for Public Relations, I will ensure that no student goes uninformed or unheard. Currently the Chair for the Public Relations committee, I have the experience to work with students one-on-one, in small groups, in large groups, and on a whole. You, as a student, need a liaison from your concerns and interests to those that can make it happen. I plan on being your link.
